We are pleased to announce that Kaz Shingo, CEO of New Connections, Inc., has been appointed the founding President of “BNI NEXIA (Fukuoka-Hakata),” the first global business chapter in western Japan.
The chapter was launched on July 27, 2026. Even within BNI, a network of more than 340,000 business owners worldwide, it stands out as an unusual chapter: a global team made up exclusively of specialists covering more than ten countries.

This year in particular, the BNI network is expanding in earnest across the vast markets of China and ASEAN. For our company, which helps clients identify the hard-to-see risks in the Chinese and ASEAN markets and build their businesses on solid ground, this is an important milestone that significantly raises our on-the-ground intelligence and execution capability.
Through this appointment, our ties have grown considerably stronger with trusted partners working at the front line of practice in each country, including legal and accounting professionals, logistics, and marketing.
For the challenges unique to cross-border business, such as “we don’t have enough real information from the ground” or “we have no execution team we can trust,” New Connections will provide even stronger solutions going forward.
