[Report] Attending a Hong Kong Networking Event of Some 2,000 Business Leaders — Toward Stronger Ties Between Japanese and Hong Kong Companies

On July 8, 2026, New Connections, Inc. attended a business-leader networking event of some 2,000 people held in Hong Kong, together with Hesui Technology Co., Ltd., the Chinese subsidiary of our collaboration partner Water X Technologies, Inc.

During the event, we connected with many business leaders and corporate representatives operating primarily in Hong Kong, and held lively discussions with companies interested in partnering with Japanese firms and in adopting Japanese products, technologies, and services.

Hong Kong is an international business hub connecting mainland China and the rest of Asia, and for Japanese companies it is one of the important markets for advancing overseas expansion and collaboration with local companies.

  • Entry into the Hong Kong market and market research
  • Developing local companies, sales agents, and business partners
  • Business matching between Japanese and Hong Kong companies
  • Arranging business meetings, negotiations, and ongoing sales support

As a tool to support the “next step” after such overseas encounters, we also publish our Global Trade-Show Database. It lets you search 1,374 international trade fairs across 15 countries — 11 in Asia plus 4 in Europe and North America — by country, industry, and month, in Japanese, and provides one-stop support from selecting where to exhibit to on-site interpretation. If you are considering exhibiting or visiting exhibitions overseas, please make use of it as well.

To everyone we had the pleasure of connecting with, thank you very much.
